It’s best to book as early as possible to ensure you get on the trip you want and to give us time to prepare. We take bookings all year round even though our season is May-September.

Yes, we have lots of parking at our base for big and small vehicles. We can store your keys in a safe location for the duration of your trip.

Yes, we can store your valuables (phones, keys, wallet, jewelry etc.) safely in our office while you are on your trip.

We are open mid-late May until mid September. Early and late season times may vary due to water levels and are great if you are trying to avoid the crowds. July and August are the busiest times and typically the sunniest and warmest. For bigger waves early season is better.

Yes, we will be taking photos throughout your trip and they will be on display when you arrive back at our rafting base. They are available to purchase after your trip.

We highly recommend leaving phones and cameras behind as it is possible to lose them in the river and your hands will be full as you paddle through the waves. We will be taking photos throughout the trip and they are available for purchase.

Yes, we love getting big groups out on the river and rafting is an awesome group activity!

Wells Gray Park has lots of wildlife and it is common to see big bald eagles and ospreys looking for fish, especially during the salmon run. The lucky ones may see bears, foxes, and deer. Keep your eyes peeled!

You do not need to know how to swim. Everyone is equipped with high float lifejackets and your guide will help adjust it for you. Your guide will show you what to do if you end up in the water. Please let your guide know if you can’t or are not comfortable swimming so they may best assist you.

Yes you can wear your glasses but we highly recommend you bring a strap for them to help them stay on.
Don’t have a strap? We have some for sale in the office, please enquire before your trip.

We have bathrooms, change rooms and warm showers for before and after your trip.
There is a large parking lot for your vehicle.
We have cold drinks and T-Shirts available for purchase in our office.

Depends of the size of raft we are taking (water level dependant), 8 people in our smaller rafts and 10 in our larger rafts.

We go rafting rain or shine! The best thing about the river is that it dosn’t matter if its raining because you’ll already be wet. We will outfit you with warm fleeces and splash tops if you think you’ll be cold.

Full refunds require a minimum of 5 days notice. If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us. IWE recommends the purchase of cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your trip should you need to cancel within the 5 day period for various reasons. We reserve the right to cancel with full refund or alter any trip and/or substitute a different river or river section at our discretion.

Nope! Most of our rafters are first timers. Our guides will teach you all that you need to know and give you time to practice before the trip.
